Abstract In recent years, public health research has increasingly focused on identifying various risk factors purportedly leading to poor social, mental, and physical among sexual gender minorities (SGM). There is however, still a great paucity of focusing facilitators, barriers, characteristics that may help inform the creation implementation successful affirming interventions aimed at improving outcomes in these communities.
